On May 10th, the newly built "Lurongyuan Fishing 697" deep-sea squid jigging vessel of Rongyuan Company was successfully launched from the shipyard by Yuantong Company.

The "Lurongyuan Fishing 697" vessel is a large-scale professional squid jigging fishing vessel, with a total length of 74.36 meters, a beam of 11.3 meters, a depth of 7 meters, and a power of 1800 kilowatts. It is a double-deck, fully welded steel fishing vessel equipped with a medium-speed diesel engine for its main engine, and its navigation area is the open sea. The vessel's hull design, various performance indicators, and technical parameters are all at the leading level in China at present.

The "Lurongyuan Fishing 697" deep-sea squid jigging vessel is the 12th such vessel built by Yuantong Company for Rongyuan Company. After its launch, system equipment debugging and outfitting construction were carried out as planned at Yuantong Company's outfitting dock, followed by mooring tests. The vessel is scheduled to be delivered in mid-June and then head to the high seas of the southeast Pacific and southwest Atlantic for production. The commissioning of this vessel will further enhance Rongyuan Company's squid fishing capacity and inject new vitality into the high-quality development of deep-sea fishing.
