Rongcheng Yuantong Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. was founded in 1973 and is affiliated with Jinghai Group Co., Ltd., a national industrial leading enterprise. The company is located in Jinghai, Rongcheng City, Shandong Province, adjacent to the Shawo Island National Ocean Fishing Base.
Our company is one of the earliest shipbuilding and repair enterprises in Shandong Province to obtain the quality management system certification from the China Classification Society, and also one of the first to obtain the 2015 version of the quality, environmental, occupational health and safety management system certification. Our company has been designated as the "Shandong Province Distant Water Fishing Vessel R&D and Manufacturing Base" by the Shandong Provincial Department of Ocean and Fisheries, and as an "old transport ship and single-hull tanker dismantling enterprise" by the Ministry of Transport. Our company's factory area has been approved as a national first-class open port.
The company has a registered capital of 200 million yuan and current fixed assets of 900 million yuan. It currently employs over 650 permanent staff, including more than 60 senior and intermediate professional and technical personnel, and over 1,700 personnel in various professional construction teams. The company covers an area of 870,000 square meters (approximately 1,305 acres), with a port area of 1.32 million square meters (approximately 2,000 acres) and a coastline of over 3,600 meters.
The main facilities of the company include: one 35,000-ton shipbuilding berth, accompanied by a 17,000-square-meter segment fabrication area; two 25,000-ton mechanical slipways; two 10,000-ton mechanical slipways; one 27,000-square-meter ship berth transverse movement area; 28 1,000-ton ship berths; a deepwater outfitting dock with a low tide depth of 7.2 meters and a length of over 1,500 meters; multiple fishing boat outfitting docks; one 10,800-square-meter steel comprehensive pretreatment and cutting workshop; one one-shot two-coat painting workshop; and other supporting workshops and shipbuilding and repair facilities.
The main equipment of the company includes: steel pre-treatment assembly line, CNC plasma cutting machine; one 120-ton, one 100-ton, and one 32-ton gantry crane, as well as one 40-ton movable portal crane; one 600-ton and one 320-ton hydraulic press; a complete set of cold processing equipment such as edge milling machines, plate rolling machines, shearing machines, and pipe bending machines; one 50-ton, one 30-ton, and one 16-ton truck crane; one 100-ton hydraulic flatbed transport vehicle; four 32-meter aerial work platforms; complete equipment and instruments in the company's physical and chemical laboratory; and more than 300 other production supporting equipment.
In recent years, the company has developed and manufactured a series of fishing vessels for shipowners worldwide, including the 8652-type 98.68-meter 3000DWT refrigerated transport vessel, the 831-type 48.5-meter cold seawater transport vessel, and the 821-type 44.18-meter refrigerated transport vessel; the ocean squid jigging vessel series, including the 8357-type 77.8-meter vessel and the 8355-type 74.31-meter vessel; the purse seine vessel series, including the 8256-type 56-meter American-style purse seine, the 8250-type 56-meter pole-and-line purse seine, and the 830-type 49.95-meter cold seawater light purse seine; the low-temperature tuna fishing vessel series, including the 8301-type 49.98-meter vessel, the 8302-type 47-meter vessel, and the 8303-type 49.2-meter vessel; the stern ramp frozen trawler series, including the 873-type 41.68-meter vessel, the 883-type 44.98-meter vessel, and the 895-type 51.68-meter vessel; the frozen trawler series, including the 801-type 44.18-meter vessel, the 802-type 44.98-meter vessel, and the 803-type 47.68-meter vessel; and the liquid cargo vessel series, including the 1360DWT product oil tanker.
