On September 10, to ensure the smooth commencement of the construction of the 79.8-meter deck transport vessel being built by the company, relevant representatives from the Shidao CCS Classification Society, along with key personnel from Yuantong Company—covering production, construction, quality inspection, design, operations, and procurement—as well as the shipowner's representatives and supervisors, convened a pre-construction meeting at the company's premises.
During the meeting, Liu Jianbo, the company's Executive Deputy General Manager, introduced the attendees and the projects under his supervision. Deputy General Manager Fu Xiujun presented a report to the Classification Society and the shipowner regarding the preparatory work undertaken—covering aspects such as the construction site, material selection, design drawings, and quality control and procurement—as well as the construction schedule and personnel arrangements. The Shidao branch of the CCS Classification Society outlined the inspection application procedures for the vessel and put forward specific requirements regarding the shipyard's safety protocols, construction standards, and inspection reporting systems. Furthermore, the parties engaged in a thorough discussion regarding potential issues that might arise during construction and explored viable solutions; concurrently, a WeChat group was established to facilitate timely and effective communication.
