On August 28, the 24-meter multi-purpose fishing port fireboat constructed by the company for a client was successfully docked.

On August 20, the company successfully completed the sea trials for the first two 58-meter fishing vessels (Hull Nos. 1 and 2)—Type 8179—built for a Hong Kong-based company.

On August 11, Yuantong Company and Rongcheng Haichen Shipping Company held a signing ceremony for the construction contract of a 6,250 DWT bulk carrier. Liu Jianbo (Executive Deputy General Manager), Xu Zhengong (Deputy General Manager), and Fu Xiujun (Deputy General Manager) of Yuantong Company, along with Zhang Xin (General Manager) of Rongcheng Haichen Shipping Company, attended the ceremony.
